Megan Battista

Megan Battista is an intern with PPG, working toward her Master of Social Work degree at the University at Buffalo. Born and raised in Buffalo, Megan started her career as an educator and instructional coach at a Buffalo charter school. After five years of engaging with the child welfare system as a foster parent, Megan began work with the Wendy's Wonderful Kids program, which provides support and advocacy for older youth languishing in the foster care system. Megan's current focus at PPG is contextualizing the available support for and needs of young people who have exited the foster care system in Erie County.
