The Community Empowerment Celebration hosted by the Western New York Law Center was an educational opportunity including:
A screening of Cleveland vs. Wall St., a look into how one community was devastated by the foreclosure crisis;
An award ceremony honoring the Partnership for the Public Good;
A panel discussion led by Professor Kathleen Engel on mortgage finance and regulation, subprime and predatory lending, and housing discrimination.
